Details for Rockland Trails

Rockland Preserve is a beautiful 650 acre open forest, filled with hiking trails, including a section of The New England Trail (NET) designated as a national scenic trail in 2009, a Wildflower Trail, the Coan Pond Trail, and a trail that takes you to an old charcoal site and provides you with information on the making of charcoal and the time when it was made right in this area in Madison. All donations to Rockland Trails go towards keeping the hiking trails safe and maintained for everyone to enjoy. If you wish to make a donation without paying the convenience fee, you can mail a check to the Recreation Department specifying your donation or call 203-245-5623.
