Details for Singletrack Biking/Pump Track

Donations for the Singletrack Biking goes towards maintenance and work projects for all of the Singletrack biking trails and Pump Track in Rockland Preserve. Currently, there are approximately 15 miles of Singletrack biking trails in Rockland for all abilities. Maps are available in the Madison Beach and Recreation Office, Singletracks of Rockland, Madison CT and are GPS ready maps. Singletrack Biking is a sport that takes you on trails just wide enough for a single bike, hence the name. Singletrack biking trails follow the natural terrain with many switchbacks and offer technical features for the more experienced rider. Rockland has some of the best Singletracks in the country and attracts bikers from near and far. The Pump Track is a feature where people, young and old, learn how to work a bike through a series of hills learning balance and how to maneuver through terrain. If you would like to donate without paying a convenience fee, you can mail a check with a description for donation, to the Beach and Recreation Office or call 203-245-5623.
